We have worked on projects throughout the United States, as well as South America, Europe, and Asia. Peter Colao has two degrees in architecture from M. I. T. and partner Richard Wood is a licensed Construction Supervisor, (MA Contractor's License #CS076835), so Wooden Kiwi is uniquely positioned to offer design/build and production services on all scales.
Partners Richard Wood and Peter Colao have a combined 60+ years of experience in, on, around, beneath, and above stages. We began our production careers designing and building scenery, and we continue to provide scenic design and construction services for many companies, such as the Big Apple Circus (New York, NY) the New Repertory Theater (Watertown, MA), the Lyric Stage Company (Boston, MA) Jose Mateo's Ballet Theatre (Cambridge, MA), The Theatre Offensive (Boston, MA), Speakeasy Stage Company (Boston, MA) and many others.
