![]() He has overseen design and installation of Wooden Kiwi's own kiwiFLOOR in dance studios throughout New England, and collaborated on the development of the Rosco SubFloor. He was involved in the renovation of the historic Coolidge Corner Theatre, as well as the Old Cambridge Baptist Church, home to Jose Mateo's Ballet Theatre. From 1996 to 2000 in addition to his work with Wooden Kiwi, he worked as Exhibit Manager for the MIT Media Lab's Brain Opera, an interactive computerized musical performance and exhibit that traveled to Copenhagen, Lisbon, Sao Paulo, and many other cities before finding a permanent home at the Haus der Musik in Vienna, Austria. He has returned to the Media Lab with Wooden Kiwi as Assistant Technical Director for Death and the Powers, the Robot's Opera. Richard has coordinated productions for the First Night Neighborhood Network, Jose Mateo's Ballet Theatre production of the Nutcracker, BalletRox's Urban Nutcracker, and he has worked with Partners for Youth with Disabilities' Access To Theatre program for over 10 years, helping youth of all abilities to perform.
